A broken checkout. Payments failing. Apps conflicting overnight. And your agency takes 10 days to respond, then tells you it needs a full rebuild. There is a better way. We built this service specifically because Shopify store owners deserve fast, expert support from people who actually know the platform.
So we built a service specifically designed to fix this. Senior Shopify engineers. Fast response. Honest advice. No pressure to rebuild. A team that thinks commercially, not just technically.
The internet is full of agencies who'll rebuild your Shopify store for £20,000. That's not us. We're the team you call when something breaks, when the app you installed has caused chaos, when you need a custom feature built properly, or when you simply need reliable support behind a platform your business depends on.
Not a slogan. We've worked across every type of Shopify store, standard, Plus, headless, heavily customised, app-overloaded. Including stores multiple developers had already declared beyond fixing.
Every quote below is from a named contact at a real business. We don't use anonymous testimonials.
“Resolve Beyond's ability to take over our website and provide immediate support was truly impressive. The speed and efficiency with which they managed everything have been remarkable.”
“The previous agency had four months to deliver and couldn't recruit a single Magento developer. Resolve Beyond stepped in, took complete ownership, and delivered a full international platform on time. Exceptional technical depth and a team that actually delivers.”
“Resolve Beyond has been an exceptional partner. They promptly resolve issues and consistently propose new methods to optimise the performance and security of our site.”
“They fixed in three days what another agency couldn't solve in six weeks. A rebuild would have cost us over £60k and caused chaos. Resolve Beyond avoided all of that.”
“They remain extremely reactive to our support requests. Proactive throughout, and they successfully delivered what the previous agency had promised for months and never delivered.”
Shopify itself is a solid platform. The problems come from the apps installed on it, the customisations made to themes, the liquid code that hasn't been touched in three years, and the integrations that nobody quite understands anymore.
You install a new review app and suddenly your checkout breaks. Or a payment app update silently conflicts with your upsell tool. These conflicts are invisible until they cost you real money.
Over-reliance on third-party apps, unoptimised images, bloated theme code, too many tracking scripts. Every second of load time costs conversions. Google penalises poor Core Web Vitals. Both are fixable.
A developer touched the Liquid code, the CSS is a mess, the mobile layout breaks on certain products. Custom theme work done without proper version control leaves stores fragile and hard to maintain.
Your ERP sync is dropping orders. The 3PL integration isn't updating stock. The CRM isn't capturing customer data correctly. These were built by someone who's no longer around, and the documentation doesn't exist.
Shopify's standard features are designed for most stores. Your business isn't most stores. Custom pricing rules, trade accounts, product configurators, loyalty mechanics, there's no app for exactly what you need.
Outdated scripts, misconfigured CSP headers, payment gateway security advisories. On Shopify Plus especially, PCI compliance and security configuration require engineers who understand what they're doing.
You raise a ticket and hear nothing for days. You chase and get vague responses. You have no idea who's working on it, what they're doing, or when it'll be fixed. Support should give you confidence, not add to your stress.
You're the one coming up with the ideas. Your support team just executes, badly, slowly, or not at all. There's no commercial thinking, no proactive suggestions, no one who genuinely understands your business and where you're trying to take it.
Every case study below is based on logged ticket data. Real clients, real platforms, real resolution times.
My GSN's subscription ecommerce platform had been broken for six weeks. The incumbent agency had failed to diagnose the root cause. We were called in, identified the issue, and resolved it in three days. A full rebuild had been quoted by others at over £60,000. We fixed what they had.
Wing Yip's agency had been on the project for four months and failed to recruit a single Magento developer. With the deadline approaching, Resolve Beyond stepped in as the technical partner, took complete ownership of the build, and delivered a full international Magento 2 platform, complete with DHL integration and stock control, on time.
Shopify's App Store is vast, but it's built for generic use cases. Your business has specific requirements that no off-the-shelf app was designed to solve. We build custom Shopify apps, Liquid extensions, and API integrations that do exactly what you need, built properly, tested thoroughly, and maintained by the same team who built it.
This isn't theme editing. This is serious technical work: private Shopify apps, custom storefronts, bespoke checkout extensions, metafield-driven logic, and multi-system integrations. We have the technical capability to build features your competitors don't have.
We scope every custom build commercially. If an app exists that genuinely does the job, we'll tell you. If building custom is the right call, we'll tell you that too, with a clear scope, fixed price, and proper QA.
ERP, CRM, warehouse, 3PL, payment providers, marketing platforms, loyalty systems, your store needs to talk to all of them. When those connections break, or were never built properly in the first place, we fix them.
Sage, SAP, Epicor, NetSuite, bespoke ERP systems, bi-directional order sync, stock updates, customer data, and fulfilment status. Built properly, not as a CSV export.
HubSpot, Salesforce, Klaviyo, custom CRMs, customer profiles, purchase history, segmentation data, and lifecycle triggers flowing correctly between Shopify and your CRM.
Royal Mail, DPD, DHL, ShipBob, Mintsoft and custom 3PL systems, automatic order pushing, real-time stock sync, tracking information updating back into Shopify and your customer emails.
Stripe, Worldpay, Klarna, custom payment gateway integrations, finance provider connections, and subscription billing systems, built beyond what Shopify Payments natively supports.
GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, TikTok, Attentive, Klaviyo, proper implementation, not just copy-paste code snippets. Server-side tracking, consent management, and attribution that actually works.
If it has an API, we can integrate it. Custom webhooks, REST and GraphQL endpoints, event-driven architectures, and middleware that connects systems that weren't designed to talk to each other.
Whether you're on a standard plan or a fully custom Hydrogen storefront, we have the technical depth to support it. Talk to us about your store
Senior engineers, critical response, and a team that actually moves your store forward, from £400 per month.
Yes, and this is one of our most common Shopify engagements. We systematically map which apps are conflicting, identify what is causing the issue (usually script load order, checkout extensions fighting each other, or theme overrides), and resolve it without removing functionality your store depends on. We test in staging first. Nothing goes live until we are confident it will not cause a new problem.
Absolutely. Slow Shopify stores are almost always caused by too many app scripts loading on every page, unoptimised images, bloated theme JavaScript, and poor Liquid template structure. We audit the full render path, remove or defer scripts that do not need to load immediately, optimise the critical rendering path, and fix the Liquid logic. Most stores see significant improvement without touching the design at all. We never recommend a redesign to fix a performance problem.
This is our speciality. We take over integrations with no documentation regularly. We map the data flows independently, tracing what the code does, what the API calls are, and what the business logic is supposed to achieve. We then document it, fix the issue, and leave you with proper documentation so you are never in this position again. We have never encountered an integration we could not diagnose and resolve.
Yes, and this is where we genuinely stand apart. We build private Shopify apps, custom checkout extensions using Shopify extensibility APIs, bespoke Liquid components, metafield-driven logic, and full custom storefronts. Common examples: custom B2B pricing tiers, trade account portals, product configurators, subscription logic beyond what Recharge provides, and complex discount or bundle mechanics. We scope every custom build commercially, if an existing app genuinely solves the problem, we will tell you. If building custom is the right call, we will deliver it properly.
The most common cause of that experience is junior developers or generalists who understand Shopify at a surface level, they can make theme changes and install apps, but they do not understand how Shopify architecture actually works under the hood. We use senior engineers only. No juniors on any work. We also always build and test in a development environment before touching your live store, use version control on everything, and require written sign-off before deploying anything. You will have a named engineer who owns your account and a full record of everything done.
Yes, and it is the majority of our engagements. Most stores we take on have little or no documentation. We map the theme, the installed apps, the custom code, the integrations, and any third-party scripts independently. We document as we go. We do not need a handover from your previous team, we do the due diligence ourselves.
Never. We work with what you have. If your theme is old and causing problems, we will tell you honestly, and then we will fix it within the existing theme rather than selling you a new one. We do not recommend rebuilds unless they are truly necessary. In 26 years, we have never been in a situation where we recommended a rebuild that was not genuinely required.
Yes. We support the full Shopify Plus capability, checkout extensibility (the new Checkout UI Extensions replacing Scripts), Shopify Functions, B2B wholesale, multi-store configurations, custom storefronts via the Storefront API and Hydrogen, and Flow automation. Shopify Plus has significant additional complexity when fully utilised, we have engineers who work at that level.
Contact us immediately, this is a P1 critical issue. If you are a retainer client, a developer will be allocated within 1 hour. If you are not yet a client, contact us and we will assess the situation quickly. The typical fix is to identify which app is causing the conflict, isolate it, and either resolve the conflict or replace the app functionality. We have fixed hundreds of checkout issues, we know exactly where to look.
Shopify support covers the Shopify platform itself, their infrastructure, admin functionality, and core features. They do not support your custom theme code, the apps installed on your store, your integrations, or the bespoke functionality a developer has built. The vast majority of real problems Shopify merchants face fall outside what Shopify support will help with. That is the gap we fill, senior engineers who understand your specific store, respond fast, and fix the actual problem rather than asking you to uninstall all your apps and try again.
Immediate issue, frustrated with your current support, need custom features built, or just want a straight conversation about your platform, we're the right people to call.
